Piaggio built - Douglas supplied - one owner only GL150. ( by the way that owner NEVER rode the scooter! - not one mile! ). So- sold new in 1965 the new owner Alan Valentine pushed the new Vespa home and put it away in the shed ( so legend goes ). Alan then left the machine idle for the next fifty or so years until he sadly passed away. So after being unearthed from it's resting place Alans Neighbour acquired the machine and "did it up" as they say. Anyway, I bought the machine at auction and set about restoring it properly. This absolutely stunning example retains it's original seat cover, grips, lighting, speedo ( now reading 18 miles!) and all trim pieces and rubber parts needing replacing are of course correct grade quality. The scooter has PRISTINE RF60 green log book,( plus modern V5 document) , original 1966 dated tax disc, GL150 handbook ( unused ) and Mr Valentines only insurance certificate.
