Vespa Douglas model 152L2 built in Bristol 1960 and registered XBE 13 in Scunthorpe ( Lincolnshire ) on 30th August 1960 so the original Buff RF60 log book informs me! XBE 13 was passed to Jeanette Goodyear in 1963 and she parked the machine up in the year of my own birth ( 1966 ). The story kind of ends there until 2022 when we here at DDS rebuilt the motor and front suspension as they had stuck through standing and carefully recommissioned the whole machine in readiness for that years London to Brighton! which we completed together without a hitch!
