There is a growing fan club for the J series Lambretta and I guess rightly so. The various models began in 1964 and this Cento 100 was produced late 1965 and sold in February 1966 - a mere sixty years ago now! So surely a one owner low mileage original Cento with less than 9,000 on the clock must be worth a fortune? Seemingly not. I love this little scooter and I am sure you will too. Loads of history ( in a big well organised folder ) takes the machine and it's owner from 1966 to 1976 when it seems GAL 57D was parked away in dry storage. Shoot to 2019 and the story continues with a mechanical overhaul and a feature in Scootering magazine. The scooter now starts easily and works as it should do. Not the fastest thing on two wheels it oozes charm from every corner and tiny details keep appearing as you look around it's timely features. All in all a great package.
