The mounting paste ensures the correct final position of the tyre, while the talcum powder minimises friction of the tube.\u003cbr\u003eThis maximises the safety and service life of the tube.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNOTE\u003c\/strong\u003e: Tubes with a lower butyl content have more flexibility due to a higher rubber content. This allows them to fit a wider range of possible tyre sizes (up to 130\/90-10). The major disadvantage is poorer air retention.
