Paul Weller Stanley Road SX150
Way back in 1996 we got a call from Paul Wellers record company (through our pal Steve Cradock of OCS fame and Pauls guitartist since 1994). They needed a couple of scooters for competition prizes and specified original sixties Lambretta's. Well, as always i like to be helpful !..... so, i had a couple of SX scooters sitting around and one of them was my good ladies!! (i did get a bit of flack for selling it even though i got her a cool sixties car to replace it!).Anyway, Kinetic Art did the paint and we did the work, the rest they say is history. Here are a couple of now old and shaky looking film photo's (way before digital) showing KOE 764E "Stanley Road" as it looked after it's make over.
